24/7 Yanging, doc short, 2019, directed, filmed, edited and produced by Ching Juhl.
Nick and Ching exchange their experiences of how they got into the “Yang” business.
Nick Rivera, extra camera.
This film is an iPhone production with iMovie editing. It is not about how big, how fancy and how heavy of the equipment, it is all about the stories and how big hearts we have.
For the past 6 month, my life has changed in a big and positive way. Thanks to Boston Yang Gang Di Cao, my college best friend, who introduced me to Andrew Yang movement. Thumbs up to Nick Rivera, a Connecticut Yang Gang, for talking to me at the Andrew Yang Rally on May 14, 2019. Thanks to Cathy Huang, who “bugged” me filming many events of AY in the summer. I graduated from Cathy’s Yanging and I became a 24/7 Yang Gang. Maxed out my donations to Andrew, I made more than 20 short films/videos of Andrew Yang events. Having ten WeChat groups of the Yang nuts, I became a YouTube Partener (no income yet), and Friend more than 700 persons on Facebook.
Thanks to my husband and son, for their unconditional support. I appreciate musicians Even Chen, Ryo Sasaki, Agora, Tee Cloud and Paul Chihara for sharing their crafts in my films. I am grateful for all the gang members. Hats off to Dr. Bing, Don, Lillian, Vivian, Ping, Wendy, Alison, Yezi, Fulton, Yang, Kevin, Webster, William, Rob and all Yang Gang. You inspire me every month, every week, and every day. Through YouTube, I met Paget, Tom and Fred, you are my role models. I thank YOU viewers for your comments and encouragement. Let’s keep Yanging. – Ching
