Let’s Fight Cancer in Dogs, Together.

I am shaving my head using my dog’s clippers to raise money for the Animal Cancer Trust, in honour of all dogs who are battling cancer and in memory of Suki, Missy Blue and Bella.

My JustGiving Fundraising Page:
The Animal Cancer Trust is taking the fight to cancer.

The ACT aim to provide education and information that help owners, the veterinary profession and all who care for our pets understand more about cancer and what treatments are possible.

ACT’s Aims:
– To provide education and information that help owners, the veterinary profession and all who care for our pets understand more about cancer and what treatments are possible.
– To facilitate ethical research and improve our understanding and treatment of cancer.
– To work with partners, at home and abroad, to pursue the fight against cancer in our pets.
– Tragically, one in four dogs are likely to be affected by some form of cancer. Cancer is the main cause of death in dogs over 10 years of age and there are approximately 200 different types of canine cancer.

The Animal Cancer Trust is a registered charity totally committed to funding the fight against cancer in our pets. It receives no government funding and relies solely on charitable donations and fundraising events.

With your help, the ACT commits to reducing the suffering of dogs caused by cancer for the benefit of present and future generations.
