Chris Noel is a retired American actress and entertainer who worked at Armed Forces Radio And Television Service ( AFRTS) as the “Voice of Vietnam” from late 1960’s to early 1970’s.
A model turned actress in the early 1960s, Chris Noel was a young blonde bombshell with a number of movies and TV guest appearances. She first started entertaining the troops in Vietnam. She received the Distinguished Vietnam Veteran award in 1984 from the Veterans Network for her work during the war.
Chris Noel founded – Vetsville Cease Fire House, Inc. in 1993 as a Florida Not For Profit Corporation. Vetsville was created to provide food and shelter for homeless American Veterans.
“The Mission of Chris Noel’s Vetsville Cease Fire House, Inc. is to help homeless and hungry veterans by providing emergency residential lodging, food, clothing and employment opportunities regardless of race, color, creed, sex, or age; providing referral service and networking opportunities with human service, civic, and any other appropriate organizations and/or agencies, and working cooperatively within our communities to help our clients participate in society as responsible, productive, self-sufficient citizens. We currently operate a male Veteran only shelter in Boynton Beach, Florida.”
