Presented in English with Spanish translation offered, the Gearing Up for Back-to-School was held Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 p.m. to provide families with tips and resources to plan and prepare for the coming school year and support children’s academic achievement.

Back-to-School discussion includes:
Terminology – buzz words what they mean & why it’s important
Resources – what’s available to families
Principal shares: Five Essential Questions Parents should ask and more
Teacher shares: Five Essential questions parents should ask and more for families with specific needs (IEP, EL, special needs)
Child Care – What resources are available and what should parents ask
Digital Connectivity and Digital Literacy – What resources are available and why important
